June Newsletter 2024

Writer's picture: Stewart DyerStewart Dyer

Cant quite believe we are nearly half way through the year. We have a busy second half coming up.

Sadly, Michael Scaife , one of our founding committee members died at Easter. He was a history scholar, Deputy Head Master of Cheadle Hulme school, and a church warden at St Philips & St James Church.

He brought humour, wealth of knowledge and great friendship to the group, whilst keeping us organised.

He will be greatly missed by us all. A true gentleman. He presented a talk about  Alderley's listed buildings last October.
